It is justice served finally for Makerere University former student Ms. Rachel Njoroge who caught herself on camera being s3xually molested by a Makerere university registrar in his office.
On April 13th, 2018, Ms. Njoroge was molested by a one Kisuze Edward, a former registrar in the college of computing and information science when she had gone to certify her transcript. Njoroge was held hostage in the room and molested by Mr. Kisuze against her will as she recorded the horrifying experience on camera.
Now, the Buganda Road Court chief magistrate has pronounced herself on the matter and found Mr Kisuze guilty of sexual assault, fining him an amount equal to 4million shillings or two years imprisonment. Ms Miriam Akello the chief magistrate in her ruling revealed that there was overwhelming evidence to convince beyond a reasonable doubt that Mr Kisuze committed the offence.
“All ingredients of indecent assault were proved beyond a reasonable doubt by the prosecution witnesses. The accused is hereby sentenced to a fine of Shs 4M or in default serve two years in jail,” Ms Akello said, however, a quitting the suspect of the attempted rape charge.
Shortly after being arrested in 2018, Mr Kisuze confessed to being misled by the demons while being held at Wandegeya police station.
“I was possessed with demons, I just found myself doing what I was doing,” pleaded Mr Kisuze.
