It is shock, pain and agony in the family of UCU Dean of faculty of Education and arts Dr Richard Watuulo after his son Roy Watuulo succumbed to death on Sunday night after a day after his wedding.
Watuulo tied the knot with his wife identified as Anitah on Saturday 5th December at Thorncroft chapel, Uganda Christian University in a beautiful wedding ceremony.
When two people are joined together in holy matrimony, they vow to be together in sickness and health, for richer or poorer till death do them part as guidelines to a long journey that awaits them.
Even though no one knows what the future holds, they hope to live a long time together and see what it brings, but there are no standard guidelines given on what a spouse does in case of the sudden death of the person they just committed to.
Such is the agony Anitah Watuulo is facing after losing her husband, Roy Watuulo, only a day after their wedding. The couple got married on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Thornycroft Chapel, Uganda Christian University (UCU).
Roy died earlier today at 12:00 am in Kapchworwa according to a post on the official Facebook Page of UCU. He was a son to Dr Richard Watuulo, the Dean Faculty of Education and Arts at UCU. The cause of his death has not been disclosed yet.
The couple are both UCU alumni.
RIP Mr. Watuulo
