Singer A Pass says Police was not right to arrest Omah Lay and Tems, gives ‘on point’ reasons

Ugandan singer and songwriter Alexander Bagonza alias A Pass says it was wrong for Police to arrest Nigerian Artists Tems and Omah Lay.

A Pass explains that the artists are still young and new in the industry as well as ignorant about Ugandan law.

“They are coming from another country, they are young, they have just started their careers you know, they are invited to a country to come and perform, they do not know the rules, they don’t know the regulations of how things work here in Uganda, they were not even told that shows are not allowed in Uganda,” A Pass posted

Additionally, A Pass says police should have arrested the person who hired the artists instead.

“If you ever have a problem, you should have a problem with the person who hired them not the artists. So for them to be in prison, is not right,” he explains.

The “Chupa KU Chupa” singer says the arrests have evidenced that there is a problem with the system in Uganda.

“We saw here Ugandan police, they stopped a sex party in Kireka but they still waited for it (Omah’s show) to start to stop it. Why should we be like that, the system is so fucked, why do you wait to have live sex and then after you put on a condom,” angry A Pass blasted police.

Boom Gossip understands that Nigerian singers Omah and Tems have been released today from Prison.
