An extra ordinary move has been taken by different Uganda media houses to help in creating awareness about the novel Corona Virus.
Media giants NBS television and NTV Uganda which have been competing with each other for a while have also joined hands together with Bukedde 1 television, UBC, and Urban Television to broadcast two joint bulletins (Luganda and English) aimed at educating the public about COVID-19 themed “Act or perish”.
The English and Luganda bulletins will feature journalists from the four media houses who will be anchoring it from Mulago hospital.
Journalists include Samson Kasumba – NBS TV, Victoria Namutebi, Ritah Kanya – NTV, Hatma Nalugwa – NBS TV, Frank Walusimbi among others.
The bulletin shall be aired on Bukedde 1, NTV Uganda, NBS television, Urban TV, and UBC at 7pm and 9pm.
