Jennifer Nakangubi, Presidential Advisor on Ghetto Affairs popularly known as Full Figure, has publicly shown support for the Minister of Local Government, Justine Nameere, despite a history of misunderstandings between the two leaders.
The support was evident on Friday when Full Figure appeared at the High Court in Masaka to stand with Nameere as she faced proceedings arising from allegations by political opponents that she rigged the 2026 Woman Member of Parliament election.
Full Figure’s appearance alongside the minister attracted attention from supporters and political observers, many of whom viewed it as a sign that the pair had put their past differences behind them.
Nameere has denied wrongdoing and maintains that her election victory was secured through a lawful and transparent process. The case stems from a petition filed by her opponents challenging the outcome of the election.
The show of solidarity by Full Figure comes at a time when political tensions remain high following the 2026 general elections, with several election results still being contested in courts across the country.
Observers say the public reconciliation between the two leaders could signal a new working relationship as they seek to advance government programs and mobilize support within their respective constituencies.
Court proceedings are expected to continue as judges consider evidence presented by both sides in the election petition.
