King Saha Mocks Wizkid and Burna Boy Over Alleged Career Decline

Ugandan Afrobeat and R&B star King Saha has seemingly taken a swipe at Nigerian music heavyweights Wizkid and Burna Boy, saying he cannot stop smiling over what he perceives as their declining musical influence.
King Saha, who says he previously listened to music by the two Nigerian stars, revealed that he often wondered what people found appealing about their music, questioning why they enjoyed such massive support despite what he considered a lack of musical delivery.
The singer further suggested that he had long anticipated their downfall, wondering why it had taken so long for their popularity to fade.
His remarks have sparked conversations about the competitive nature of the African music industry, particularly the dominance of Nigerian artistes across the continent.
However, his comments are likely to attract mixed reactions from fans of Wizkid and Burna Boy, who remain among Africa’s most recognised music exports.
For King Saha, though, the perceived change in their musical fortunes appears to be something worth smiling about.
