Ugandan media personality Sheilah Gashumba has applauded Uganda Airlines for its direct flights to London, describing the travel experience as convenient and unmatched.
Sharing her excitement on social media, Sheilah revealed that she departed from Kampala at 10am Ugandan time and arrived in London at 4pm UK time, praising the airline for making travel between the two destinations smoother and more comfortable.
“A quick London dump! Uganda Airlines’ direct flight to London is the best thing ever. I left Uganda at 10am and arrived in London at 4pm. Another airline to London won’t see me again,” she posted on her social media accounts.
Her comments have since sparked reactions online, with many Ugandans commending the national carrier for improving international connectivity and reducing the stress associated with long layovers and connecting flights. Others described the direct route as a major boost for tourism, business, and travel convenience between Uganda and the United Kingdom.
The direct Entebbe-London route has been one of the most anticipated additions to Uganda Airlines’ growing international network, with travelers increasingly praising the airline’s onboard service and reduced travel time.
Sheilah’s endorsement adds to the growing list of public figures and travelers who have publicly shared positive reviews about the national carrier’s international operations.
