Ugandan music star Sheebah Karungi has returned home after spending three weeks in India, where she underwent a successful surgical procedure.
In a heartfelt message shared with her fans and followers, Sheebah reflected on her medical journey, describing it as a powerful experience that strengthened her faith and reminded her of the importance of love, resilience, and the support of family and friends.
“Three weeks in India and now back home with a grateful heart. What began as a journey for surgery became a reminder of the power of faith, love, and resilience. I thank God for seeing me through a successful procedure and bringing me safely back home,” she wrote.
The celebrated singer expressed gratitude to the many people who supported her throughout the process, including those who checked on her daily, offered prayers, called, texted, and kept her in their thoughts during her time away.
Sheebah also thanked the individuals who accompanied her on the trip, acknowledging their care and unwavering support throughout her recovery journey.
The most emotional part of her message was directed to her son, whom she described as her greatest blessing and source of strength during the difficult period.
“And to my son, my greatest blessing, thank you for giving me a reason to keep fighting. Every time I came back from the hospital and saw your face, I felt stronger. You reminded me of what truly matters and gave me the strength to keep going,” she said.
While noting that her healing process is still ongoing, the singer said her heart is filled with gratitude for life, health, family, friendship, and every prayer that was said on her behalf.
The message has since been met with an outpouring of love from fans and fellow entertainers, many of whom welcomed her back home and wished her continued recovery and good health.
